Jimmy Manna, RPh
Jimmy is a licensed pharmacist with over 25 year experience in retail pharmacy.
Jimmy has extensive experience working directly with customers to address their healthcare needs. Over the years, Jimmy developed passion for helping people stay healthy. Using well established protocols, Jimmy always advocated the need to live a healthy lifestyle. Diet, exercise and supplements are often at the core what Jimmy advised his customers.
Jimmy is also very careful when dispensing medications to make sure that customers understand the potential impact of medicine on nutrients in the body. He often makes recommendations to help mitigate some of the medicines side effects using quality supplements and diets.
Jimmy also takes time to educate customers on the benefits of supplements and how to chose the right supplements that are appropriate for their age and wellness needs.
Kristina Pestana, MS, CNS, LDN
Kristina is a Licensed Clinical Nutritionist/Dietitian and Health Coach with a master's degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health.
She previously worked at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL, as a consultant for multiple departments, including the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Cath Lab, Nutrition Services, and Emergency and Operating Rooms.
Kristina is certified by the Board of Nutrition Specialists, a member of the American Nutrition Association and a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. She’s also a Certified Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Medicine (IIN) and hold a ServeSafe certification.
She specializes in Eating Disorders, Digestive health, Food Sensitivities, Autoimmune diseases, ADD and Autism, and Diabetes management.
Alka Deshpande, MH, RH(AHG),NT
Alka is a Registered Clinical Herbalist with American Herbalists Guild (AHG) and Nutritional Therapist, Registered as professional member with all necessary credentials with National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).
Being a Physics graduate from University of Mumbai (India) with a strong work background of over 10 plus years in Pharmacy Compounding and formulations with a Licensed Pharmacy personnel in state of VA , she decided to pursue the journey of Holistic Health Education in 2014 by achieving her diploma as “Master Herbalist” with certification in Foundations of Holistic Science and Family Herbalism at Natural Healing college, Sacramento CA.
She further took her Professional Herbalist training with Advanced clinical skills, and Nutritional Therapy certification at International Integrative Educational Institute.
She’s trained in Ayurveda( An ancient art of medical herbalism from India) nutrition and Herbalism with body typing , western and Chinese herbalism and experienced working with clients with Hormonal imbalances, Metabolic Syndrome, Chronic inflammation and pain management, cardiovascular health.
She’s an active member of Medical Reserved corps (MRC) and certified as Youth Mental Health First Aider
She serves as faculty at International Integrative Educational Institute since May 2019
Omar Shoheiber, PharmD. MBA.
Omar is a clinical pharmacist who started his career as a hospital pharmacist at Alexandria Hospital in Virginia. Omar completed a residency in clinical pharmacy practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and fellowship in health outcomes at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Omar also obtain his MBA from Seton Hall University in NJ.
Omar’s career included working for the pharmaceutical industry where he supported a number of disease management initiatives. As a managing partner of one of the most successful medical education agencies, Omar had the opportunity to participate in the development and the launch of numerous education campaigns in support of pharmaceutical products and various healthcare initiatives.
As a team leader, Omar brings to bear his passion for adult education, extensive experience in organizing teams, and his ability to develop high quality services and offerings.
